Scope and setup: A box contains 2–12 item units, with up to 100 candidate variants. This is a fixed-price box, rather than a tiered-price or subscription bundle.

Set the required item count and a per-variant limit. Organize choices into groups and check that the selection meets your saved rules.
Scope and setup: The picker shows selected and remaining quantities. Published rules are checked again before the box can proceed through the cart and checkout.

Scope and setup: Up to eight collections and 100 candidate variants per box. Repeated variants are removed; reaching the candidate limit or read budget is reported so you can review the import.

Scope and setup: Select up to 20 boxes at a time. Bulk editing applies to saved drafts and paused boxes; a conflicting revision leaves the whole edit unchanged. Other actions show a result for each selected box.

Set a start and end time in your store’s timezone. Review the schedule state and cancel an upcoming schedule when plans change.
Scope and setup: The saved box still needs valid publishing, inventory and plan checks at the start. Refresh compatibility checks within 24 hours before the start. Ending sales also blocks checkout of expired boxes already in a cart.

Set the heading, description, button text, cover and accent color so the box picker fits your storefront.
Scope and setup: Place the picker app block in a supported Online Store theme. The merchant app interface remains in English.

Offer a gift-message field with your own label and optional required entry. Preserve the message when a shopper edits their box.
Scope and setup: The message stays associated with the box’s cart line. This is a written gift note; it does not add engraving, delivery scheduling or a paid customization service.

Provide translated headings, descriptions, buttons, group labels and gift-message labels. The picker uses the storefront language with a fallback to your default text.
Scope and setup: Storefront interface text includes English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Merchant-supplied text needs your translations; the admin interface remains in English.

Sync the picker’s display text to product text fields, then translate those fields using Shopify Translate & Adapt.
Scope and setup: Prepare an unpublished product preview before syncing. Shopify translations take priority when they match the current text source; outdated sources fall back to the in-app text. Store-level translation discovery and display verification are still required.

Show the box’s actual components on the cart page. A shopper can remove the old box, revise the selection and recover it if the new add does not complete.
Scope and setup: Dawn 16’s cart page is the tested baseline. Assign a dedicated product template to the box parent, remove that template’s native Buy buttons, Quantity selector and Variant picker, and use Box picker for the complete box. Keep ordinary products on their existing templates. Install Box contents on the cart page. An uncertain cart result requires checking before retrying.

Open the native cart drawer after a confirmed add and display the components from Shopify’s rendered cart page. Keep access to the existing edit and remove flow.
Scope and setup: For Dawn 16’s page and drawer only. Install the cart-page Box contents block and enable the Box cart drawer embed. If drawer content cannot be confirmed, the shopper can continue on the cart page. Real-theme verification is pending.
Existing capability
Check candidate products, inventory and publishing readiness. Shopify Functions expand valid boxes into real component lines and validate the selection at checkout.
Scope and setup: Compatibility must be recorded for the store’s theme version and cart mode. Components must share an online fulfillment location; unsupported or uncertain setups cannot pass publishing checks.

Bring the box order, its component quantities and Shopify amounts together for review and export.
Scope and setup: Review follows Shopify’s actual order and component records. It does not calculate a replacement refund amount or issue automatic refunds.

Ask Sidekick to find saved boxes by name or status, inspect prices, item limits and sales schedules, and open the corresponding box settings.
Scope and setup: Read-only access to the authenticated store’s saved app settings, with five results per page. Results include the saved time; they do not confirm current stock or eligibility to sell. Large candidate lists may be shortened with an explicit notice; open the box for the full selection. Unreadable settings return a recovery message. Development-store Sidekick lookup has been tested; hosted-app release is pending.

Let Sidekick suggest the box name, item count, variant limit and fixed price. Review the fields and identify the candidates in Shopify’s product picker, then confirm creation yourself.
Scope and setup: Only the store owner can confirm. Confirmation saves a draft and prepares an unpublished Shopify parent product through the existing preview checks. It does not publish or enable sales. An uncertain creation result keeps the saved draft available for inspection and never automatically retries. If the parent may have been created but cannot be identified, another preview is blocked until support reconciles it; a known parent can be repaired without creating another product.
Existing capability
Prepare a box as a draft and use an unpublished preview to check it. Pause sales before changing price or selection rules, then publish a new version.
Scope and setup: Up to 20 unarchived configurations per store, including drafts. Preparing a preview does not enable public sales. Shopify-verified development stores can prepare a labelled test product for up to one hour without a paid plan, after the owner accepts the current agreement, explicitly enables the test and passes the required configuration checks. Ordinary-store sales retain their existing billing and release requirements. Pause the test to block new additions. Shopify’s native bundle link opens the matching saved configuration.

Follow setup guides, review operational reports and contact support from the app. Control any temporary support permission for editing a paused draft.
Scope and setup: Store owners control write actions. Support aims to provide the first human reply within 24 continuous hours; resolution time depends on the issue.
The current scope is fixed-price boxes with 2–12 items, up to 100 candidate variants per box, 20 unarchived box configurations per store and 10 boxes in a cart. Components need a shared online fulfillment location. Sales use the default market and currency.
Subscriptions, tiered prices, paid add-ons, multi-currency sales and multi-location component fulfillment are outside the current scope. Theme and cart compatibility must be verified for the exact store setup.
